Ken Ritucci, Vic Ceder & Scott Byars have over 75 years of calling experience between them.  Together, they have the knowledge and leadership to assist you with your career.

THREE LEVELS OF PROGRAMS

A. Beginners Level

Designed for brand new callers who need all the basics, including basic choreography, microphone technique, voice control and introduction to Music and Rhythm.Discussion on the proper use of equipment, including exposure to Digital Music.

B. Intermediate Level

For callers with experience between one to 4 four years, emphasis will be on Beginner Sight calling Techniques, better timing and body flow as well as Creative Choreography plus much more.

C. Experienced Level

For callers who have been calling five years or more. Emphasis will be on Advanced Sight calling Techniques, more intricate ways to resolve a square, being exposed to the Crams Method of Choreographic Control. A clear understand of Timing and Smooth Body Flow as well as being able to work your Singing calls and have the ability to change figures within the song.

Ken Ritucci

Ken has been calling for 35 years and has been teaching callers since 1983. Since the early 90’s, Ken has conducted some of the most successful Callers Schools in the country. He has traveled throughout parts of the United States and Canada, calling and conducting callers Schools and Clinics. He has taught hundreds of callers how to call and has helped them tremendously with their calling careers. Ken calls through the C-2 Level and he is knowledgeable in all aspects of calling. Ken is a member of CALLERLAB and an Accredited Caller Coach.

Vic Ceder

Vic Ceder started calling in November 1981 (at the challenge level) and currently calls at levels Basic through C4+. He has taught classes at all levels from Basic through C3B, and has called in 20 states, 7 countries (other than the USA), and at several National Conventions as well as being a permanent staff caller for the AACE Convention (Academy for Advanced and Challenge Enthusiasts)Debbie and Vic are the authors of “A Ceder Chest Of C3 Square Dance Definitions”, first published in Nov. 1990, “A Ceder Chest Of C1 And C2 Square Dance Definitions”, and “ Ceder Chest of A1 & A2 Square Dance Definitions.” He has written several square dance related programs for the IBM PC compatibles, notably the Couple Rotation Program and the Ceder Square Dance System.

Scot Byars

Scot Byars started calling in 1971, travels all over California, and visits Oregon, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho and Alaska doing both dances and festivals. He calls for five clubs in Sacramento, Napa, El Dorado, Placer and Sonoma counties each week. He is well-known for his exceptional singing voice and extremely upbeat and enthusiastic style.
